How is a SPRS score calculated?

The methodology starts with a maximum score of 110. Each Not Met practice deducts 1, 3, or 5 points based on the Annex A value. The score equals 110 minus the total weighted deductions.

Can a SPRS score be negative?

Yes. If enough high-value practices are Not Met, the score can fall below zero. The lowest possible score is -203.

Which practices allow partial credit under the DoD Assessment Methodology?

Partial credit applies only to IA.L2-3.5.3 for multi-factor authentication and SC.L2-3.13.11 for FIPS-validated cryptography. For all other practices, Partially Met is treated as Not Met for scoring.
